Cursor hangs on boot-up

    My Friends: I am running Windows XP Pro. Occasionally, during boot-up the cursor would just sit there on the top left hand corner of the screen and blinks. I have to re-boot the computer a few times for it to boot normally. Once booted up completely it runs normally. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks for any help.
