so now im out for a new one,
i had an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
unfortunatelly i reallly liked that card a lot,
and now ive got to buy something new
i was wondering if anyone knows what a good upgrade would be
for that card that i can keep my dual screens and not have to change
to a different type of DVI adapter

I'm assuming that you're using AGP. I'm also assuming that you're partial to ATI products. Here's two cards that looked OK to me. I'm not sure what your budget is; the first one should be under $100, and the second should be under $150...

Both cards have one VGA out and DVI out, but they come with a DVI to VGA adapter (usually) for your second display. They also have Svideo (I think). The web site I linked to is a wholesale outlet, so you won't be seeing any prices, but you'll get all the specs.
