Did you know that german shepards are one of the newset bvreeds on the planet? Hitler was a bad man, but he made sure the world had german shepards. Before that they were usually white, sometimes tanned...Amazing dumb fact by me:~D

As I know it they are the top of the breed

they have a better memory memory
thay like to play
they wiii NOT let you have visitors unless you tell them too

Thats funny, My dog is addicted to kids. he sees one and he must visit. Funny thing though, he will literally run up and sit in front a child and give the ole squinty may i lick you to death look! With adults he is all jumpy and and never asks if its ok to maul and lick to death.
What a charmer...Almost like he knows little ones are more fragile...Hard to explain

 

i have the pleasure of owning both the smartest dog on the planet, and the dumbest. i have a lab/rott mix that can read minds and understand whole sentances, and a two yr old hienz 57 that doesn't even know its own name. neither are puppys any more, but the littler one is a retard so that almost counts.

 

Blitz is just a little over 2 years
very friendly with kids but over protective where he lives
he will stretch the 6'6INCH WITH OUT TROUBLE
he keeps me warm so i dont have to use the furnace lol

even though its cute thats what i thought those poor pups having to be hung up there and for how long i wonder???

 

Actually, the German Shepard Dog or Schutzhund was developed long before hitler was a spark in his daddy's eye. IT was developed by a count in the german highlands whose name escapes me now that i am at work, but he bred the best of the traits into the dogs. WW2 was the origin of the military dog though, the precursor to the mordern police dog.
