CWS.Msconfig

Okay, i've been coming here for a minute, and i've looked into the programs you suggest for removal of not-so-good stuff.

I've aquired the CWS Shredder as your guide suggested. During a scan in safemode (on my Administrator account), i found the CWS.Msconfig variant on my system. CWS Shredder does not clean this file, it just finds it. I was wondering if there is any program that would erase it... i've downloaded all programs on your list for spyware removal.

Also, on an unrelated note, I just downloaded this MSConfig Cleaner. There are entries on there that are completely blank. I was wondering if it's because the programs that were once there no longer exist or whatever, being that they have no support for their program.

I already highly appreciate the site your help has given me, and to help me here would be fantastic.

CWShredder only cleans a few variants of CWS. If your system in infected. Please do the following:

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

When you return to make your next post make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
