CWshredder ?

    Ran the subject and got this at the end of the report:

    Done!
    Removed from your system:
    - CWS.Jksearch
    Check on how to prevent re-infection and the was 3 ways.

    1. D.L byte verifier patch on microsoft
    2. D/L xp sp1
    3. Remove (but there seemed to be some problems there when I read the
    the removal instructions).

    I checked my d/l history and did not see where xp sp1 had ever been d/l I do have xp sp2.

    If anyone can advise would appreciate it

    If you have WinXP SP2, you already have everything that was in SP1.

    Make sure you have all updates for SP2 by going to Windows Update and checking.

    Thanks, as far as I know I have all updates since I got xp. I get an automatic date.

    Should I do anything then in regards to d/l the patch?

    As I stated in my previous message:

    If it tells you that you do not need any updates then there is no patch to download.
