I had this happend a long time ago and I believe I dloaded a new codec or vid driver or something... help please!! Thanks a meeeliion...

 

Try the search function for audio stutter. I found the answer there.

Oh oh...I tried to search "audio stutter" and it says it cannot search bcuz a system service is not running. hmmmm

 

I don't have the link that helped me but here is the solution that worked;
"I'm guessing you're using XP.
Go to Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices.
On the Audio tab, is Realtek chosen for your Default Sound playback?
On the Volume tab, click Advanced in the Speaker settings.
On the Performance tab, is Hardware Acceleration set to Full?
If it is, you may need to slide it down some.
See if that helps."

Changing your Hardware Acceleration can help fix your DVD and or sound stutter. Give that a try.

Awesome...thanks a bunch...that fixed the problemo. there is a very very slight "tick tick static sound" when each word is spoken but it isn't very noticeable. I moved acceleration down all the way then moved the sample rate conversion to the fullest.

 

And I thank you again for it!
