Dangerous websites

I used to have something that showed up on my Google search all the time. I'm trying to figure out how to get it back.
It had a symbol after every website listed telling whether it was considered 'safe' or not. I have a different computer now,and can't remember how I had that on my last one.
Is it a HP thing, or a Google thing ? Either way-how do I get it on,or something that does the same thing to tell you about whether particular websites are "dangerous" or not. Thank You

Could it have been McAfee SiteAdvisor?

McAfee's Site advisor can be used as a stand alone with Internet Explorer or Firefox:

Norton has Safe Web: http://safeweb.norton.com/

Do you use Firefox to browse? There's an addon called WOT, which I'd suggest: http://www.mywot.com/
