Darn redirect malware.

Hi all, I'm new to posting on this site, and only started browsing couple days ago so apologies if not posting on the right board.

As the title of the thread suggests I have redirect malware affecting MS Internet Explorer on this machine - (it's actually my fathers - I've had the sense to install firefox for when ever I use it which is how I'm able to get on the web now - I have administrator access)

I have just recently removed a Zlob down loader that AVG found in the program files - I also manually deleted folders for virus ranger.

Now when ever MS IE is used it will go to the home page (msn) and I can even perform a search an example I just searched on Casio, selected a link that should of gone to casio.co.uk it will go through various URL's, one of which is webcry the others are IP addresses and I wll end up at another search or directory page I've never heard of - usually with results that relate to my origional search!

I have not DLed Hijack this just yet as just before posting I read the thread on posting logs.

Any one got some advice?? merry xmas and thanks in advance!
