Data backup

Have just started new company and alot of work done is on 2 different laptops and backing up this data is crucial. What is the best way to backup 2 laptops on a schedual. I was thinking of an external hard drive that the 2 laptops can be networked too. What is the best way??

 

Acronis True Image 9 or 10. 11 is buggy to some people & me. Couldn't restore system. 9/10 is perfect. I'm using 10 on a daily schedule.

What are you backing up? The whole drive or some files? ATI can back up drives, files, folders, email and software settings. It's best to have 2 hard disks or 2 partitions on the same hard disk. If you have only one, you can use a partitioning tool to move the data to the beginning of the drive & divide the drive into 2. I use Acronis Disk Director for this job.
