I have a screen broken 2013(?) Motorola(?) XT1080 Android Ultra. Of course I should get a screen protector next time. I'm not in the absolute biggest hurry, though I am looking to leave the state to go visit family on Dec 14. Even if I just end up getting the screen repaired, I should try and learn a little from people moving forward.

Without a little input I'll probably just end up replacing the screen for 85$ (which would take a week) since it's still half as much as getting a new one from Verizon unless some rep gets me the deal they claim they can, and the phone itself is still compatible with most of the stuff out there. All Verizon Rep can really do for data recovery is access my google account for it's phone numbers (which I'm looking into checking online). But I know there's programs out there to access everything of relevance.

But I know I can get the exact same phone for 50$ on ebay if I wanted to. Can anyone recommend data recovery program and a good online shopping options? Should I spring for a new phone from Verizon?
