    Hi folks,

I worked with Tim earlier this week on this same machine. (on the below thread)
    http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=921066#post921066

Problem with this machine is not Malware.

Have not gotten BSOD since Tuesday, but we think Adobe Acrobat is either the victim or culprit of this machine's issue.

I uninstalled Acrobat Pro7 and tried to reinstall with a known clean installer from our Campus software site and it would not install on that machine. I saved to desktop, ran it from the site, nothing worked. I was getting Error 1335: Data1.cab error. Acrobat just will not install on this machine.

Any information on how to fix this? How it happened? Any and all help much appreciated.

Empty your temp files, disable the anti-virus/firewall and see if that helps.

Thanks for the tip. Tried it. No dice.

I am going to reinstall Windows, there is nothing left for me to try and I have spent almost two full days working on this.

    Unless someone has another suggestion...

Tried that, Adobe Acrobat is not listed. I have tried installing it no less than eight separate times now. I am done with that.

    Thanks for your suggestions though!!
