Hey folks if you like gained a database error when getting to forum in past few hours it was like just a glitch in the system, but then it gave you some time to get out and do something else ;)

don't know what the issue was but don't think off hand it was linked to the DDoS attacks that are hitting some major sites that's being reported today.

Halo or One Who Can Answer,

That brings up a question though, what about attachments from old threads, do they still need to be "attached" or is it up to the user to manage their attachments? In particular, old Lounge threads.

    Just wonderin' ...

Ken as usual GREAT question and one I was thinking of too when Philipp mentioned the HDD was full, we have surplus junk and I can imagine majority are YouTube and Malware Logs, so dont know whether we have in this VB Forum soft the option to cull old attachements say 1yr+ old.

I will pose this question in admin forum.

I thought that was also a good idea, and removed some of my older attachements... As long as there was "0" downloads, might as welll be rid of them..... ;)

WOW! you mean I missed some action around here. I went into town today and when I got to my email and PM's I'm finding all kinds of question about not being able to get on MG's Again. Could this be a lingering piece of what ever happened the last time? Just seems odd these site having connection problems again so soon.

Everything is fine at MGs, see post #5, just needed some disk space and Phillip took care of it. I'm not sure how much space we required a day, but guessing with all the posts it can add up fast if they're busy with other things and not keeping an eye on it.

We get messages at work from IT re our mail server and email clean up, mail adds up fast just like posts since they don't limit us unless we abuse our privileges.
