Below please see netstat -a printout.
    What is datafoundry.com?
How can I get rid of it?
The same connection is active on my other (Win2K) machine.
This machine is behind the Windows XP firewall. The Win2K machine is behind ZA Pro 6.1. My Internet access is via cable modem to Linksys router, which creates a local LAN. My firewalls are always on but lately I have left my machines on. Maybe it is time to stop this.
    Thank you for your assistance.
    Belarc profile is attached.

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

First a note of warning. The Windows firewall is not a true bi-directional firewall and does not provide adequate protection. You should use ZoneAlarm on both PCs.Does this link mean anything to you: http://www.datafoundry.com/

It does not seem like anything bad. Are you having malware problems?

I found a program that the "datafoundry" connection is related to on my machine using netstat -ab. The program is a filesharing program called FolderShare that I use. The URL belongs to a large Texas ISP. So now I know something about the connection. Now I wonder if the file sharing program is tracking something on my machine?

    Thanks for responding.
