Day Off From Work

    Got up this morning, turned on computer, and my Firefox will not come up.

    So, I guess my day off from work will be spent finding out what's wrong with my computer. I did download the new Firefox, so might uninstall that and reload the old one.
    Already ran Adaware, Spybot, CWShredder, RegCleaner, and some others, and they are finding nothing, so I am hoping doing a clean install of Firefox will fix this.

    So....................................What are you all doing this morning?

    Getting ready to goto work!! :rolleyes:

    If you're like me, and your comp is on 24/7...try just a simple restart!! If not... the first thing I always do is look at the processes in the task manager to see if for some reason there is something in the background that is all the sudden hogging the processor, and that will make commands lag soooo far behind that it just appears to not be working!! ie...sometimes I check e-mail first thing and for some reason, occasionally the virus scanner wil hang and hang, without any visible proof, and when move on to opening Firefox, It takes, literally 2-3 minutes to open!!

    Just a thought, but anyway...good luck with it...i'm off to work!!!

    Midday here, just had lunch... trying to miss the HOOOOO HAAAA because Prince Charlie and/or Camilla are here at work today to open some new thingy.. which escapes me what it was!!! and going home in 30mins... having half day off, for good behaviour :D

    hope its an easy fix of a re-install of FF, one thing that happened on a PC of a reletives that had FF problems is that even a un-install and re-install may not work because there were some files left in C:\Program Files and the FF folder.... save any bookmarks etc and delete any FF folders IF the re-install doesnt work first.

    Goofin` off...I may trot over to Wal-Mart and score some goodies for my kids...so damned hard to shop for adult girls I`m not chasin` after lmao. :p May go to Dick`s for new sneakers, too.

    Sorry to hear your PC is acting out gal. Hope you get it sorted ok.

    Today I'm at work. Lunchtime have my driving test, and then later this afternoon we have our 35th anniversary celebration at one of the programs. Tonight....take it easy...big Christmas shopping day on Saturday at one of the outlet malls on the coast :)
