   Isn't that what you camcorder is supposed to do? What I am reading about this device is that it is only for capturing video to create DVD movies.

   No. You can plug a camcorder into it to record from a camcorder to the computer. I want to know if I can modify something so that I can see my desktop if I plug my tv into the dazzle.
