   quick question: can anyone tell me what the disadvantages of using a database management system are? I know what the advantages are but I read somewhere that there are also negatives, I can't think of any and its annoying me !

   there probably just referring to that some stuff you can do more effecently your self than having a mangement system do it for you. i vote use the system though, alot easier.
