I have Norton 360. I have ADware. I even have RegCure and Macrovirus but I keep getting advertisements that say Dcad. I do not remember well but this might have started after I experimented with Limewire for a few days. I dumped Limewire right away but I still had Internet Explorer windows open up ads on top of whatever Foxfire web page I had going. Internet Explorer did like Google to pick up on key words to set off ads in I.E.

No matter what I have tried all I have gotten corrected is to have the dcad ads pop up with another Foxfire window.

What good is Norton 360? How do I get rid of dcads?

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

If you have both Norton 360 and MacroVirus installed, you must uninstall one of them IMMEDIATELY. This is one of the worst things you can do. It will make each program much less effective and has the effect of lowering you security not increasing it. In fact, it can mess up Windows Security Center permanently.

P2P & torrent downloading is probably one of the largest reasons for people coming here with infected PCs. The second largest is probably porn surfing.

It is not on our list of things to use. ;)
