ddr install problem

    I recently tried to install 512ddr and took out 512sdr. I have removed the battery and unplgged the power before removing sdr and installing the ddr. Everthing works fine untill I reboot then Windows XP wont load.

    Post your system specs.
    Your mobo supports both ddr & sdr? separate slots for each?

    Do you get any errors/messages?


    Here's shot in the dark, I have seen BIOS updates that solve memory issues, check the mobo manufactures web. (also note BIOS updates fix specific problems, dont update unless it may solve an issue)
