DDR RAM Question

    I think I know the answer, but I would like some input. Can you mix different DDR RAM? Will it just default to the lowest speed on the boad like SDRAM did?

    you are correct in your assumption; it will default to the lowest speed ram in the on the board.

    It is also possible that your two different chips would have compatitability issues, where as each would work by them self but not togather, so some risk of failure.
    You probably should set mem timings manually to accomadate the slower of the two chips. ( the slowest of the two's speeds)
