Default Browser(googlechrome) Will Not Remain

Every time I turn on my Computer my GoogleChrome has changed back to MicrosoftEdge eventhough I have set GoogleChrome to default browser. Win 10. Boneyeye

 

Try going through settings to change the default browser click start then settings then apps then default apps and at the bottom you should see web browser click on that and you should see Google Chrome click that and Google Chrome should be your default browser.

 

That is what I have been doing. But when i turn of compt. and turn it on next time my default browser has changed again to Microsoft Edge. I wonder could Microsoft be doing this. sexyandy81 thank you for replying

 

No otherwise they would be doing it to mine and mine is set to Google Chrome default.

 

Sorry but I don't think you are grasping what i have been saying. When I" turn off" my computer and turn it on again it has changed back again to mycrosoft edge. Then when I launch Google Chrome it says that Google Chrome isn't your default browser and in a blue square it says "set as default" so I do again but same thing has happened again and again. Have I made it any clearer. Thank you again. Boneyeye

 

Yes I do understand I was just answering your question if Microsoft could be doing it. try uninstalling Google Chrome and reinstall it again.
