'Defender Pro causes - Win453 error upon Windows shutdown

    Hello all and ty for reading. If this has been mentioned already please delete it. I currently have a 'Win453' bad process windows pop up when closing Windows Xp. It's not a spy/mal problem far as I can tell. The culprit is Defender Pro 5-in-1 software suite. They are currently investigating the problem. Hmph.

    Welcome to Major Geeks!

    Okay so then I'm wondering why you are posting this here. It is a software problems with something you have installed not malware. Did you just want to post this as an FYI.

    Oh sorry it was just a FYI. Figured ppl would come screaming to this topic if they thought it was something serious.

    Okay but a title of just Win453 is not going to be of too much use to anyone interested in problems caused by Defender Pro. A more descriptive title would get hits on searches. Things like below would have been more helpful

    Win453 Error on reboot
    Win453 error - program not responding
    Defender Pro causes - Win453 error on reboot
    etc.

    OK fair enough. If you would just rename it 'Defender Pro causes - Win453 error upon Windows shutdown' for me; I don't wanna double post. The DF Pro executables will close eventually - they just pop up the 'Windows cannot close this program' when shutting down.
