Defragging with no rights

At work we use XP Pro. Well, the techs took away all administrator rights..down to where we cannot even move icons from the start menu to the desktop. Naturally we cannot even defrag without administrator rights. Is there any software that will allow me to defrag without administrator right? We cannot install software so that idea is out. Maybe if I could make a program portable that would work. Any suggestions or solutions? Tried the ashampoo magic defragmenter but that has to be installed first. Even tried making that a portable app but that doesn't work..says the drive is already defragged when it didn't even start. HELP!!

 

Deffragler can be made portable.

 

Will it access the hard drive to defrag? I had the io smartdefrag made portable and got the error that administrator rights is needed....

 

I'll have to admit, I've only been using Defraggler for a short time and only on several computers. I've never had a problem with it. But, you never know.

 

Ok..I'll try the jk portable one. Even though they are portable doesn't mean they can bypass the lock down on no administrator rights to keep us from doing things and you need that just to defrag. Maybe there is something out there that does not need to be installed and will defrag a totally locked down no rights pc..I'll let you know.
