DELETE- can or can't

I have a gateway2000pc,with win98se OS. ON one of the splash screens before my desktop screen comes up is typing.

Can ANYONE tell me how to delete or suggestion on what to do?

That won't do it.

It's a DOS sound driver trying to load, probably for a Creative SoundBlaster card.

It's been a long time since I've used 98, but it's your Autoexec.bat or Config.sys file that is loading it.

Do a search (enable hidden files and folders) for either, and make a backup of the file, then just delete the entry C:\SET BLASTER etc and save.

You can do this in NotePad.
