I deleted some data, text, and pictures from my USB stick. I looked to see where they went ie. trash container but it was empty. i was going to use eraser on them to safely delete. Question..where did the deleted files go? Are they safely deleted with no possible way to retrive? How do you safely delete on a USB memory disk? Thank you

    Hi,
You can format the pen drive by this method.... start>computer>choose the icon that is your pendrive (D,E,F)right click>format> this will delete all data on this drive. You can also use the drive wiper option in CCleaner if you want a more secure deletion.

To delete from a USB stick, I always move the files to my computer then I erase them on the computer.
It is not good to erase anything on a USB drive because of the drive type.

I have always heard that items deleted from the USB thumbdrives was instantaneously removed without going to the Recycle Bin.
