Delete Windows???

Hi i just checked my recyling bin and it was empty but its icon has trash in it and when i go to the recycling bin it gives me options to restore deleted files or empty recyling bin i click empty recyling bin it shows me the confirmation and it asks me if i want to delete 'Windows' i clicked no because i thought it was gonna mess something up and clicked restore but nothing is happening...
Anyone got any ideas on what's going on??

Im running windows xp 2002

Go to display properties in control panel or right click on empty space in desktop.

choose effects tab

select correct icons for recyclebin empty and full

click apply and ok


Restart pc.


If this does not cure it try setting the icon to something else and then back again.
