deleted many viruses then reset registry and now...?

    the computer restarted and is saying......

    reboot and select proper boot device
    or insert boot media and selected boot device and press a key

    .....well i checked that everything is connected and it is so i have no clue anymore? Any help would be awesome? thanks

    This problem would most likely happen because of your boot order has been changed in the BIOS settings. If you have a floppy drive as your first boot device and your CD ROM as your first boot device, your computer will try and find media on these devices to boot from, if you don't have anything in the drive this will happen as it did Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" this just means that your hard drive that has your operation system installed is not your primary boot device, however it should be. To change this you need to enter BIOS set up and find where these settings are and change your boot order so that your hard drive with your operating system is installed on is the first boot drive, as for your second boot drive, its really your choice.
