Deleting a corrupt file

Hey guys,

I've been looking at old posts and haven't found any solutions to my current problem. I'm visiting some relatives for a few weeks and just picked up an I-phone that I want to initiate. Problem is their "c:\program files\java" file on their computer (xp) is corrupted. I can't install itunes, can't delete/uninstall/reinstall java. Any ideas on how to get rid of the file without formating? Moveonboot doesn't even recognize the file and pocket killbot isn't working... Thanks...

Edit:CHCKDSK isn't working...
