    Hi

I'd Love to say yes 100% but not as clearcut as that as many applications have settings files named the same as well as you maybe having files (images or docs) named the sane but in different folders, once its scanned I would just check before deleting are not a needed file, but in some cases if you do delete a needed file then when the application that used to work errors then all you need to do is reinstall it.

What is the duplicate cleaner you are using?

You will find that 90% could be deleted its just that 10% that may.
