I am dual booting WinXP and Ubuntu.
I made an icon on the Ubuntu desktop that leads to a file on the windows side of the disk.
When I try to send it to trash, it gives the message: Error "Not on the same file system" while deleting "/home/port-...y Pictures"
I'd sure like to think that this could be rectified.........
    Anybody know how?
    Blessings,

Killed 'em! After several tries of options from the Ubuntu community, I tried one of my own thoughts: desktop, places, desktop, clicked that, desktop file browser came up, deleted them just fine from there.
