Deleting manufacturers logo on start up

I have a Dell Dimension L433c computer that I have very recently upgraded with xp pro. One of the things I liked about XP is the quick start up time, unfortunately on my machine the start up process includes looking at the "Dell" logo for 30 seconds before the OS kicks in to do it stuff. The whole process takes well over a minute. How can I speed this up by getting rid of the logo and viewing the normal "system details" as it boots up.

That is coded into the BIOS... whithout a bios flash or a util that changes it (specific to the BIOS) it cannot be done...
and Dell makes it VERY difficult to flash the BIOS with anything but a Dell Bios

There is probably an option to change the display inside the BIOS itself. I haven't been able to try it on a Dell myself, but I have changed the BIOS settings on 3 other brand computers. Those were a Compusa, Hewlett-Packard, and Tiny Computers brands. Just frantically push all the "F" keys or the delete key right after you push the power button to enter setup. Then you should find an option that says something like initial BIOS display or something. I think they have this feature in there so repair technicians can watch the BIOS if they have too. Imagine having a BIOS error and not being able to see what the error is?
