Deleting McAfee

I'm having a sligh...major problem recently i installed the latest version of McAfee on my PC and well...to cut a very long story short i need to completely delete it from my system, i tryed uninstalling it but it says that the uninstall file is missing, i manually tryed deleting it and it does not to appear in my registry but after running a search for it it says that the program still exists, i try deleting that and the same problem occurs, it says the file needed to uninstall it is not present, i really have no clue what to do, any feedback would be very much appreciated.

Reinstall it to replace the missing file, then uninstall it.

You don't tell us what the exact version is, or your operating system, so you will only get generic responses.


You can also make sure that you have "hidden files and folders showing", then go through and manually delete all traces in folders and Registry.

If it won't let you delete it, then do so in Safe Mode, or use something like POCKET KILLBOX to force it to delete.
