Deleting start-up programs, need info/assistance

Hey, I'm wanting to delete a few start-up programs but I'm not sure which ones I need or how to delete some of them. My knowledge of PC's and software is very basic so please excuse my ignorance on this issue.

The first one is a Packbard Bell application called "Setup My PC". It seems be there to help with simple stuff like setting up an internet connection, so I dont think I need it. I don't know how to delete it however as it doesnt appear in the Add/Remove Programs list.

The second program is "tooltip". I don't know what this is or if I need it.

The third is "Realtek HD Audio Manager". I'm not sure if I need this for my speakers/sound card to function.

The fourth is called "OmniPass". I have no idea what this is or what it does.

If you could give me any info on what these programs are/how to find out if I need them/how to remove them, it would be greatly appreciated.

The other programs will still open when called for, may take a half-second longer to open is all.

Most puters I see have a list of 25 to 40 programs, and run sluggishly as h***.

When I get done with them, and there are some other tweaks but this is the most important one, they are better than "out of the box".

I have Win7, 64 bit, 3 gig of RAM. Boots in about 45 sec. And is very quick on all apps.

And I don't need the sidebar, just window dressing.
