Dell 922 printer re-installation due to the attached Abbyy 5.0 Sprint OCR software being corrupted. Using the Dell driver CD to UNINSTALL then INSTALL causes an error message "not enough disk space on target drive . . . . so continue first free space then click OK". The drive has 200+ Megs of space available. Would appreciate any help to see where I go from here?

Seems I found an answer by a workaround. By ignoring the messages generated by the Dell OEM CD and downloading the drivers from Dell.com it allowed me to bypass the error message and get the printer running.

    Hi

Cheers for the update and workaround for this Dell printer, just a quick question and may help others with similar issue, is what Windows version you using?

Reason I ask is that in some instances the auto installer on driver disks are old and dont seem to work well with Windows Vista, downloading latest driver off the WWW or opening up the CDs menus and going directly to the setup.exe file sometimes works, other times the exe needs right clicking and Run as Administrator used.
