Dell blue screen crash c1f5

Downloaded sp02 & ie09 and it crash my computer. Went ad downloaded UBCD for windows and it works. My operating systems is vista. Have 2 hard drives on my computer c & d drive. The operating system as allways been c drive. Using ubcd look at configuration it is showing my c drive as new volume, while my d drive as the (OS) drive. Check hardware diagnostic an everything is working find. Need help desparately. Don't want to try to reload all of my programs. Can anybody help Iwould appreciate it.

 

If these are two separate physical hard drives (not partitions) both with operating systems on them, go into the bios and change the boot order to
boot from your original drive. Or you can go to Disk Management and try to reset OS order.

The "d" drive is reading as the operating system. It should be "c" drive. D drive only has back up files in it. Can I get into disk management from UBCD to change the (0S) to read as c instead of d. The ultimate boot disk I can navigate pretty simple. I know how to in windows but not in UBCD. Chec the hardware with the drivers disk, it tookall night but it gave me a passing grace on all hardware. I tried the youtube video and its not accepting commands. Probably because the its reading d instead of c.How do I switch. Unplug d and it read c as new volume, not (OS). Any suggestion.
