Hi all I need some help with my friends desktop. My friend has a Dell Desktop with windows Vista 32 bit. @ gigs ram.

She tried to download an old Roxio creator and it totally made her computer go a bit nuts. Well we were able to go into Safe Mode and do a restore point. Now her computer is so super slow that it is scary. We need help to some how bring it into working order.

I actually even ran Malwarebytes and no bugs.

So could really use your help.:cry

So two things happened: (1) installed Roxio Creator, (2) performed a System Restore (if I understand you correctly)?

It is possible that the System Restore wiped some DLLs and registry entries that Roxio needs; I suggest that you uninstall Roxio and see if gets better.

If not, check with the Task Manager's Processes tab if there are any unusual processes that take up lots of CPU or other resources.

Here is the deal When we did a system restore Roxio disappeared so we cannot remove it cause it is gone.
