I have a Dell Dimension 9200 with Raid 0 - 2 x Samsung 238gb. I had an error on Port 0 in Windows so therefore decided to run Samsung HUTIL. When I tried to reboot I recieved a message that the Raid set was not bootable. I also recieved a message stating that the array had failed and that Port 0 was a non-raid disk. Clearly HUTIL had corrupted something.

I have run diagnostics against the so-called failed disk and the data appears to be in tack, however I know that the data is spread over the two disks. I booted the PC into mini-XP and ran a few tools with varying results. RAID Reconstructor seems to be the best but still failed.
Although I booted the pc in mini-xp i note that Raid Reconstructure states that the drives have to be on a non-raid controller which I dont know how to do on the Dimension.

I really dont want to lose the data on the disks - pleassssss help!

    Thanks.
