DELL just goes blank?? HELP

    ANYONE help, give me advice..
    As soon as I turn on my desktop, the monitor shows "DELL Loading" then 3-5 seconds later just goes blank and black.. I tried hitting F2 and then F? (the setup F12or F11) and nothing happens..

    I've heard people say "crashed" but really don't know what that means.. It is only a 2006 Dell.. any ideas would be great before I take it to Office Depot or another computer Help place and they try to charge me like crazy..:cry
