I'm on Win XP. All of a sudden, the mute, volume, track up and down audio functions at the top of my Dell SK-8135 keyboard stopped working. I've tried googling and installing different drivers to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated.

Why use google, when Dell.com's support site would have the info you need. Have you tried removing the keyboard driver for the keyboard, along with the dell software, and then rebooted?

Thanks for reply. The google results was actually mostly Dell's site. I'd like to try what you are suggesting. How do I remove the driver and what is the Dell software you are saying I should remove? When I do this, reboot and plug in the keyboard, it will auto reinstall?

At this point, I am going to keep it short. You would open up Device Manager, click on the device that you wish to look at, then click "uninstall" in the driver tab. When it reboots, Windows will install the default Microsoft driver. Then you go to Dell.com support side of their site, enter your service tag, and it will show the drivers available for your machine. From there, you download and install the driver for the multimedia keyboard.
