    To fix Dell Latitude E6400 audio problem in windows 10 go into bios on dell latitude e 6400 and select sytem configuration then uncheck enable e sata ports then audio problem is solved and hope this helps any one with this type of problem you are experiencing with this type of computer running windows 10.
    Also remember to save setting changes in bios and reboot dell latitude e6400 computer.
