I was in the middle of a system restore on my PC. My power went out and now I cannot boot my system. Is there a way to reboot the system even though it was shut down in the middle of a system restore?

Was the restore using a restore point within windows? If so, I'm afraid the OS is corrupt.

If you have an image on an external hd or on DVDs, you can go through the restore again.
The same thing happened to me a few years ago. I was restoring when we lost power. Fortunately, I have images on external devices so I started the process again and got the laptop back to its former self.
