dell problem.

My friend's dell dimension desktop was ravaged by spyware, viruses, etc. After being unable to remove them, we reinstalled windows xp (with another cd, since dell didn't provide one with the computer). The problem is that now the monitor is stuck on 640x480 (when it ran on the normal 1024x whatever before), and the modem won't work to connect to the cable internet connection now. I'm not sure if this is driver related or what? Someone help me out please.

Because the EULA agreement allows it to be installed on one PC only, unless it's a legal corporate version.

That's why Micro$$oft has Product Activation. One licence for one PC.

How did you activate them?

 

if i downloaded a keygen, would it work?
