Dell XPS camera

    My Dell XPS laptop integrated webcam will not work. Reinstalled Webcam manager software. I Get message "MSCTF.dll not found " when I try to open. Can anyone help? Thanks

    How about posting the exact model of the laptop and the version of Windows that you're using?

    It is a Dell XPS M1330, with Windows XP Home, with Intel Core 2 Duo

    but it might be an older version.
    I just checked and my version is 5.1.2600.5512 with a size of 291kb

    Search and maybe it is on your computer just not in the proper location. If you find it, put a copy in C:\WINDOWS\system32

    I wouldn't install it again, just look through the directory and see if it includes the dll your computer is complaining about.

    Thanks Found a cfile in Windows\servicepackfiles... at 291 KB and a date this modification was made. I am not sure how to move this or proceed from here. Thanks again!
