 I just upgraded to a new desktop and installed my old hard drive as a slave so that I could transfer my old files,

I had problems with the new xp pro that dissappeared after deleting the O.S. files on the second drive,

I Transfered many files including all my wifes personel settings i.e. ( my doc's, favorites and desktop)

however when it came to my old personel files I:\Documents and Settings\Tom, I receive the message: I:\Documents and Settings/Tom is not accessible, Access is denied,[/COLOR] (most likely due to permissions that I did not reset proir to changing computers?).

I use V-com's System Commander for partitioning and the files will show in the boot file explorer however I can not move them.

    Please help
    Thank You
    Tom

Saw your fix as I was logging on to post that I found and successfully implemented the solution after my first successful attempt to find info from MS forums (I just finally learned how to search more efficiently it seems) Thanks Ever so much for your help:)
