Designjet 450c drivers

    HP hsa no drivers for this plotter (designjet 450c) for vista, what can I do to get my plotter working.

    Autocad savy, not computer savy.

    Ypu could give this HERE a go as HP as you know dont liost any drivers for that model for Vista, but just in case it doesnt work what version of Vista do you have 64bit or 32bit?

    In many cases some other drivers for close models can work ok, and in the above case it seems some have had sucess with the DJ 500 model Vista driver, so worth a go.

    I used the advice that was posted to download the xp driver then go to compability and install. Haven't tried all of of my programs yet, nor tried the colors yet. But it plots black and white fine. after trying other programs like photoshop or sketchup i will let you know.:)

    Cheers for the update and I hope it works in colour ok, but if not do try the Vista driver listed as well.

    Are you talking about trying the 500 driver or something else.

    Hi

    Yes the post from bens427 there, is what could or seems to work for a few, but if your plotter is now working in B/W and Colour ok, I would not change anything, best not fix whats working ok now.
