desktop freezing

hi all. ive read all the posts and stuff about how to maybe fix this but my desktop keeps freezing up. nothing gets highlighted or loads up. if on internet at time then no more pages will load. i have done scans from everywhere i can think of but no luck so far.

I run windows 7 home premium on a hp6735s laptop.

Any help would be much appreciated. I also have done a 'hijackthis' log incase you should need it for any reason.

i think you may be better following this link http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=208809 make sure you follow all the instructions carefully and then post the requested logs into the malware forum, then just be patient and the malware fighters wil get round to sorting you out, if for any reason there is anything you cannot do during the process don't worry just carry on to the next step or ask !
