Desktop Hijack

Let me say in advance, thanks for all the work you guys do =)

My desktop was recently hijacked and antivirus gold was installed. I've gone thru all the preliminary steps and for the most part everything looks good. The only problem I have is that my desktop is still a bit goofy. The desktop hijack image is gone, but now my screen flashes between white and grey and wont load up wallpapers. Also, IE loads up on startup, but the about:blank hijack is gone.

Right on, desktop is back to normal and IE isnt loading on startup anymore. I really appreciate the help =)
