Desktop icons not showing properly?¿

I just bought a new computer and my desktop icons were fine, then suddenly I realized they were a little messed up.

Can't really see the image ...but right click the icon, properties and hit find target ...see if it takes you to the exe file in that folder ...if not, fix it. If it is just the icon....hit change icon.

Click the image for a better view.

Try:

* at a command prompt, change to the %SystemRoot% folder
* remove the hidden attribute from the file:
type attrib -h shelliconcache and press ENTER.
* delete the file:
type del shelliconcache and press ENTER.
* logoff and backon and the default icons should be restored.

I am having a similar problem as Chipm0nk. The only icons that look lilke his-hers are the ones for my .html files. Is there a way I can get them back to looking like my IE icon? (the big blue e)
