    Hello to everyone.
    First post.
    Can someone help me pls.
    I have XP Prof Service Pack 2
    RAM 239MB
    CPU MAKE AMD ATHLON XP1800+
    CPU SPPED 1493 MHZ
    My PC locks up everytime I switch on. Once I reboot the PC than it works perfect for rest of the day without any problems.
    There are no error msgs in the eventviewer.
    Thank you in advance for any help. :)

    Can you describe exactly what the computer is doing when it locks up? (What stage)

    Thank you for your reply.
    The computer locks up when it gets to far as the desktop icons.
    Once the computer locks up mouse or the keyboard does not respond.
    I hope this helps.
