   hi,
   do i neeed to install desktop search for my instant search to work in outlook 2007? i recently exported my outlook folders to another machine and i can nolonger search for words or emails.

   What Windows version are you using and did you use Desktop Search to find emails etc as if so then yes you will need to install it on the new machine so it can index your files, emails etc
