Desperately seeking help !!!!

I AM A COMPLETE NOVICE when it comes to this type of stuff but I am DESPERATE!! I need to download files and am receiving a CODEC ADPCM100 error and need to be able to access these files. Can someone please help me? I have a Vista Shark Codec installation on my computer already but these new files are obviously not bypassing this and allowing me access.

I use audio files to do my work at home, usually wav files, but the wave files i have recently received are giving me some type of ADPCM 100 codec error message. I need to fix this before this weekend. Have a major load of work coming with these types of files and am just n ot getting anywhere. i wanna :cry . Anyway sorry about being such an idiot but I really, really am desperate. these files do not play on my Medial Player, on my Express Scribe or on my bytescribe. i also cannot get my .DS2 files to play either. i am just completely stuck!!!

 

you could try a different media player.

A quick search shows that http://coreplayer.com/ allows you to play ADPCM files.
